Katie Weston - Artist
Hi, I’m Katie Weston, a professional artist specializing in date stamp portraits—unique artworks created using hand-stamped dates tied to meaningful moments like birthdays, anniversaries, and especially weddings. I love offering live portrait experiences at wedding receptions, where guests can watch the artwork come to life while the couple receives a one-of-a-kind keepsake to remember their special day.
I’m also a children’s book illustrator, and I’ve had the joy of illustrating the Super Penguin series by Rob Witzel, as well as How Special I Am: A Book of Positive Affirmations and Sometimes: A Book About Feelings, written by my sister, Beth Walder, Licenced Clinical Social Worker.
When I’m not illustrating or stamping portraits, I teach painting workshops and sell my artwork at local vendor fairs in east central Illinois. Whether I’m creating art live at an event or bringing a story to life on the page, I’m passionate about making meaningful, creative connections through my work.
